This online help system offers the following types of information:
General information about the system
Descriptions of individual pages and fields
Step-by-step instructions for the most commonly used tasks (for example, searching for a reference table and creating a new transaction)
The online help window has two frames:
The right-side frame displays the help topic information or displays a graphic with which you can navigate to other topics of the online help.
The left-side frame has a series of tabs which enable you to navigate and search the online help system. These tabs are described below.
The CGI Advantage online help includes the following navigational tabs in its left-side frame:
Contents — The Contents tab displays books and pages that represent the categories of information in the online help system. When you click a closed book, it opens to display its content (sub books and topic pages). When you click an open book, it closes. When you click pages, you select topics to view in the right-side frame of the browser window.
Search — The Search tab enables you to search for words in the help system and locate topics containing those words. Full-text searching looks through every word in the online help to find matches. If the word you are searching for is located within drop-down text, then you will have to click the drop-down link to expand the text to find the term you are searching for. (The Search feature is not available with Accessibility Help)
