Generating an Audit Report

Audit logging information can be viewed by generating an Audit Log Report. The Audit Log Report can be generated by scheduling the Audit Log Report job. Once the job is set up, the job parameters must be specified to generate the report:

  • Table List – List of Table Names for which the report has to be generated. The format of the table list is comma-separated table names such as TABLE1, TABLE2, TABLE3, and so forth. For example, you can set up the Table List as “BS_AGENT, R_MSG, R_UNIT”. Leave the field blank to include all tables for which audit logging is enabled.

  • Start Date – Date from which the report must be generated. The format of the start date is MM/DD/YYYY. For example, you can set up the start date as “05/01/2002”.

  • End Date – Date until which the report must be generated. The format of the end date is MM/DD/YYYY. For example, you can set up the end date as “05/31/2002”.

  • User Ids – User Id of the online user or Job Id for background jobs. The format is comma-separated user ids or job ids such as USERID1, USERID2 … or JOBID1, JOBID2 … For example, you can setup the user id as “sa”. Leave the field blank to include all user ids and job ids for offline jobs.

  • Report Type – Format of this report type. It is either 1 for Summary Type or 2 for Detailed Type.
