SDO Setup

There are two methods to setup SDO cache.

• Utilizing the Versata console. (Traditional method, which is only available to on-prem sites or by CGI operations staff)

• Utilizing the Server Data Object Cache (SDOCACHE) application page.

The difference between the traditional method vs the SDOCACHE page approaches lies in their functionality. In the traditional method, the table remains read-only throughout an application sever session. Conversely, with the new approach, users have the option to designate a table as either read-only or updatable by toggling the “Allow Update” flag on the SDOCACHE page.
