Common Terminology

This section contains an alphabetical list of terms that are common in Internal Billing and a definition for each one.

• Billing Chart of Accounts (COA): The chart of account elements to be used in the creation of Receivable transactions or the provider/seller side of Internal Exchange transactions. Both the revenue and expenditure accounting models are supported.

• Feeder System: Any external system that collects information for goods or services provided into CGI Advantage Financial. Within a single feeder system, there may be very different types of bills with different data points and billing information.

• Internal Buyer Chart of Accounts (COA): The chart of account elements used for the buyer/receiver side of the Internal Exchange transactions.
