This feature provides the ability for users to receive an SMS containing Alert messages in addition to the online message. When an Alert is sent, an SMS is sent to the recipient user’s phone number. Note: The SMS is only sent, when the Alert SMS Notification indication is selected and a phone number is specified in their Account Settings page of their User Profile.
In order to send any alerts as an SMS, the Enable SMS Alert Notifications (ENABLE_SMS_ALRT_NOT) parameter on the ERP Application Parameter (ERPCTRL) page must be set to true.
Note: The CGI Notify SSL certificate needs to be added to ADV3.keystore. Refer to the “Setup for SMS Notification” topic in the CGI Advantage Security Administration Guide for more information.
