Advantage uses the Apache Log4j logging framework to log informational and error messages to the console and log file. A description of Log4J2 is beyond the scope of this document. Details of the framework are available at https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/configuration.html. Logging configuration is maintained in the log4j2.xml file, which is placed in the <VLS_HOME>/VLS/bin directory.
Logging can be configured in two ways, either through modifying the log4j2.xml file or via the Logger Configuration (LOGCNFG) page.
