The type-ahead functionality is controlled via the enabled property for the typeahead_config design flag in the typeahead_config.conf file. The enabled property is delivered as false (turned off). When the enabled property is set to true, then the functionality is available for the Pick list fields that are configured in the typeahead_config.conf file.
