Implementation Method

The Travel and Expense Management has a unique feature not found in other areas of Advantage Financial, the ability to work only with Advantage Financial (known as Financial only) or work in conjunction with Advantage HRM (known as a dual site). In both, travelers are Advantage users with valid User IDs, but then that is connected in very different methods to travel features. When only using Advantage Financial, travelers have a vendor record that is connected to their User ID. When using Advantage HRM, that User ID is connected to an employee record.

Variations between the two methods are called out in this User Guide when a given page (reference, inquiry, or transaction) contains a difference. The Implementation Method Configuration topic under the Advanced - Setup section provided later in this user guide contains information for a System Administrator to switch from a dual site to a Financial only site.
