Employee Benefit Contribution Level

The Employee Benefit Contribution Level (EBCL) page defines salary ranges and contribution percentages for Benefit Type and Benefit Plan combinations to support the New Jersey local government health routine. This page works in conjunction with the New Jersey Local Health Routine selection within the Special Routine ID drop down on the Employee Fringe Benefit Plan (BENP) reference page. The Employee Benefit Contribution Level page contains the following fields:

From

The first day of which this information becomes effective. This field should be entered in mm/dd/ccyy format.  

To

The last day of which this information is effective. The default value for the operating system is 12/31/9999.

Benefit Type

This field identifies the code associated with the Benefit Type.

Benefit Plan

This field identifies the code associated with the Benefit Plan.

Minimum Annual Salary

The annual salary an employee must receive at a minimum to use the predefined contribution percentage identified on the Employee Contribution Percentage field.

Employee Contribution Percentage

The percentage used to determine the employee annual cost of the New Jersey local government health routine. The maximum value is 1.00. If the percentage is 7.5%, then enter 0.075.
