View/modify Employee Benefits Enrollment Wizard
An authorized HRM Administrator can view and modify the Benefits Enrollment Wizard for an employee who encounters issues while enrolling into benefits through the Benefits Enrollment Wizard. Security setup in the Advantage Administration application is required to provide HRM Administrators access to an employee Benefits Enrollment Wizard.
To access the employee Benefits Enrollment Wizard page and modify/view the employee enrollment if required, perform the following steps.
Login into the application as a HR Admin (select the role based on the setup)
Search and select the employee for whom you need to access the Benefits Enrollment Wizard..
From the secondary navigation panel, navigate to the Benefits Summary Landing (MEIBEN) page and select the Benefits Enrollment Wizard button.
Once you enter the wizard you can view, navigate, and modify information inside the wizard in the same manner as the selected employee. Modify the enrollment information as required to resolve the issue.
Once the issue is resolved, you can unlock/release the employee’s Benefits Enrollment Wizard so that the employee can continue and complete his/her benefit enrollment. Selecting the Release button also saves your changes. For more information on unlocking the wizard, please refer to the following “Unlocking/Releasing Employee Benefits Wizard” section.
Unlocking/Releasing Employee Benefit Wizard
Once you enter the wizard for any employee, the wizard will be locked for that user. The wizard will be unlocked for the selected employee/user only in the following ways.
Logging out of the application - When you log out of the application by selecting the Sign Out link when you are inside the employee Benefit Enrollment Wizard, it will be unlocked and the employee will be able to enter the wizard.
Note: You need to be inside the employee Benefit Enrollment Wizard when logging out of the application to release the wizard otherwise the wizard will not be released.
Session time-out - If you are inside the employee Benefit Enrollment Wizard and a session time-out occurs, then the wizard will be unlocked for the selected employee.
If the Employee Name on the summary page does not match the logged-in user name then the Submit Enrollment button will be modified to the Release button. When you select the Release button then the wizard will be unlocked for the selected employee.
You can lock only one employee at a time. For example, if the wizard is locked for employee ‘X’ but the HRM administrator doesn’t releases the wizard and locks another employee ‘Y’, then the wizard will be unlocked for employee ‘X’ automatically.
If the HRM Administrator comes out of the wizard by any other way except for the first three ways mentioned above, the wizard will not be released and the employee Benefits Enrollment Wizard will remain locked for that employee. To unlock the wizard, the HRM Administrator can either enter the employee Benefit Enrollment Wizard for that selected employee and perform any of the first three above mentioned steps or select another employee on the Change Employee icon on the Benefits Summary page and enter wizard for this new user.
