Modifying Pending Deductions

To access the Pending Deduction (PDED) page and modify a pending deduction from the Deduction Management (DEDM) activity folder, perform these steps:

  1. After selecting the appropriate employee, select the Pending Deduction tab from the Deduction Management carousel.  Result: The page is updated and features a grid listing deductions associated with the employee.  It also features links to access the Create One-time Deduction (OTDED) and Modify Pending Deduction (PDED) transactions.

  2. Click on the Related Action field of the appropriate line on the grid and select Modify Pending Deduction. Result:  The Pending Deduction Detail tab of the Pending Deduction (PDED) transaction is displayed.

  3. In the Pending Deduction tab, enter or revise the information overwriting existing data if necessary.  

  4. 4. In the Pending Deduction Detail tab, enter or revise the information overwriting existing data if necessary.

  5. Select Validate to make certain that your entries are correct.

  6. Select Submit to record the employee’s deduction in the system.

  7. Select Save & Close to exit the Pending Deduction (PDED) transaction and return to the Deduction Management activity folder main page.
