Pay Period Cap Amount (CAPP)
The Pay Period Cap Amount (CAPP) routine ensures that the deduction specified does not exceed a set amount. If this routine is selected, Advantage HRM compares the deduction amount with the maximum allowable pay period amount. If the deduction amount is greater than the specified amount, HRM will only take the Cap Amount. If the deduction is less than the Cap Amount, then HRM will take the deduction as is.
The maximum deduction amount is contained in Amount/Percent 1, in the Special Routine ID tab, on Deduction Plan (DPLN). The Pay Period Cap Amount routine does not use the other Special Routine ID Amount/Percent fields.
