Training and Competency
Under this step the manager can set goals related to trainings to be attended and competency levels to be achieved by an employee. This feature can be turned on or off by the site.
A manager can add trainings or competency levels by clicking on the + icon and adding a row. The Name field displays a list of trainings or competency based on the value chosen in the Type field. If the Type is Training, the Name field displays the list of trainings. If the Type is Competency, the Name field displays the list of Competencies. The manager can add the type of expectation - training or a competency, then select the name which will map to the courses or competencies.
When adding a training, Current Level and Target Level fields are disabled.
When selecting competency, the manager is required to set the Target Level.
Due Date has to be entered as the target date for completing the training or competency level achievements.
Completion Date, Current status, Current Level are for tracking of the completion of training or competency level achievements.
An employee can also add Trainings or specific Competencies, which they want to achieve.
The step gets locked for any new additions or edits once the Goals are finalized and signed off, after that only Completion Date, Current status, Current Level fields are available for updates to managers and employees.
