Labor Distribution Profile Management

The Labor Distribution Profile (LDPM) transaction allows you to set up accounting distributions to which pay events can be charged.

The Labor Distribution Profile (LDPM) page includes the following tabs:

Use the Labor Distribution Profile tab to identify the department, profile, short description, long description and effective dates.

The Labor Distribution Profile Details tab allows you to identify the funding and accounting details for the profile.

User Defined Field Information

The Labor Distribution Profile transaction also has the below User Defined fields that can be enabled via Configure Page (DESIGNER) page for site specific labelling and usage.

Field Name

Field Description

User Flag 1 through 5

These user defined fields are reserved for site-specific use allowing users to select one of the options N/A, Yes, No.  These fields are optional and do not have any edits on them.

User Code 1 through 5

These user defined fields are reserved for site-specific use allowing users to enter up to 25 variable characters.  These fields are optional and do not have any edits on them.

User Date 1 to through 5    

These user defined date fields are reserved for site-specific use allowing users to either select or manually enter a valid date. 

User Text 1 through 5 

These user defined date fields are reserved for site-specific use allowing users to enter up to 50 variable characters. These fields are optional and do not have any edits on them.

The Labor Distribution Profile transaction can be created in the following ways:

  • Select the Create action on the Transaction Catalog.

  • Select the Create Labor Distribution Profile row-level action on the on the Detail tab of the Labor Distribution Profile activity folder.

  • Select the Modify Labor Distribution Profile row-level action on the on the Employee Accounting Data tab of the Labor Distribution Profile activity folder.
