Salary Grid

The Salary Grid (SGRID) page is used to make mass salary changes for employees by adjusting the placement of titles rather than increasing all steps by a certain pay rate percentage. This reference page allows grades (associated to titles) to be moved to the appropriate schedule level on the salary grid. This reference page is used as input for the Pay Policy Rate Table Mass Update batch process to update the Pay Policy Rate (PPRT) reference page with derived values based on Salary Grid. If the update to Pay Policy Rate is effective before the current pay period start date, the system also generates mass change requests. The mass change requests are used to create retro pay and retro deduction triggers, allowing for retroactive payroll and deduction processing.
