Tax Reporting Description

The Tax Reporting Description (TAXD) page defines the descriptions for each report ID. These report items are used to group categories on the Tax Reporting (TAXR) page for reporting or UI - Inquiry purposes. Refer to the Tax Reporting Supplement for information on setting up report items used in tax reporting. The page also defines the State ID and Local IDs. The State ID and Local ID fields have the following constraints:

  • The State ID is only allowed on records where the Report ID is equal to HAR0120 and the Report Item starts with the number 16 or 17.

  • The State ID is required when the STATE TRACKING OF PAYROLL SUMM parameter on Site Specific Parameters (SPAR) is True and the Report ID is between 16001-16999 or 17001-17999.

  • The State ID field is not allowed to be entered when the SPAR entry STATE TRACKING OF PAYROLL SUMM is set to False.

  • The Local ID is only allowed on records where the Report ID is equal to HAR0120 and the Report Item starts with the number 18 or 19.  

  • The Local ID is optional when the SPAR entry LOCAL TRACKING OF PAYROLL SUMM is set to True for the From/To dates specified on TAXD.

  • The Local ID is not allowed to be entered when the SPAR entry LOCAL TRACKING OF PAYROLL SUMM is set to False.
