Correspondence Notifications
The Correspondence Notifications page is used to access and review letters or notifications generated for employees through the online application for the purpose of auditing. The Letter/Notification PDF Load batch process ensures that all letters generated via the Email Letter/Notification PDF and Print Letter/Notification batch processes are imported into the Correspondence Notifications (CRNTF) reference page.
The Employee View Allowed and Manager View Allowed check boxes control the access for Employees and Managers role users to view the letters generated for employees on the Manage Employee Profile Information (MEIPROF) landing page > View Letters and Notification carousel tile. When either of the check box is selected, the employee and/or manager is able to view the letter/notification from the Letters and Notifications carousel tile.

The Correspondence Notification reference page contains the following fields:
Field Name |
Field Description |
Appointment ID |
This field represents the appropriate appointment identification number for the employee. The date letter was generated. This field should be entered in mm/dd/yyyy format. |
Attachment Description |
This field allows users to provide a concise and informative summary for attached files. When the Correspondence Notification entry is created by the Letter/Notification PDF Load batch process, this field defaults to the Letter Type Description from the Generate Letter/Notification (GENLN) reference page. |
Attachments |
This field allow users to attach, download, and view files. The user can access attachment history through the Attachment option. |
Employee ID |
The identification code associated with the employee. The Employee ID is used to identify the employee in the system. |
Employee View Allowed |
This field enabled user to make a particular letter visible on the Employee Profile tile. |
Form Date |
The date letter was generated. This field should be entered in mm/dd/yyyy format. |
Home Department |
The identification code associated with the operating entity for which the employee works. |
Home Unit |
The identification code associated with the management unit to which the employee reports. |
Letter Type |
This field identifies the type of letter generated. |
Manager View Allowed |
This field enabled user to make a particular letter visible on the Manager Profile tile. |
