Employee Industrial Accident Tracking (EMIAT)

Employee Industrial Accident Tracking (EMIAT) transaction provides the ability to record Industrial Accident claims and trigger retroactive process when necessary (for example, when an employee is terminated while having an active Industrial Accident claim). Industrial Accident claim information can be viewed, created, or updated from the Industrial Accident and Short-Term Disability (IASTDM) activity folder.

Date of Injury/Illness

Enter the date of the injury.

Retro Supplemental

Identifies whether retroactive pay will be processed in either a supplemental or regular payroll cycle. If checked retroactive pay is processed in a supplemental payroll. If left blank, the system will process the retroactive Industrial Accident pay through the next regular payroll cycle.

Benefit Type

Enter the benefit type associated with the claim.

Injury/Illness To Date

Enter the last day of employee’s injury/illness.

Last Benefit Date

Enter the last day that the employee is eligible to receive salary continuation benefits.

Permanent and Stationary Date

Enter the date the Third Party Administrator has determined the employee’s injury will not change.

Claim Number

Enter the claim number for this incident.

Third Party Administrator

Enter the name of the Third Party Administrator.

Phone Number

Enter the contact number for the Third Party Administrator.

Weekly Benefit Amount

Enter the benefit amount the employee receives weekly for this claim.

Daily Benefit Amount

This field displays the employee’s daily benefit amount for this claim.

Post Salary Continuation Start Date

Enter the start date for Post Salary Continuation.
