Identity and Employment Authorization

The Identity and Employment Authorization page is used to define the types of transactions that can be used to establish an employee’s Identity and Employment Authorization (such as a driver’s license, passport, voter registration code, social security card, etc.). These transactions are defined as an Identity transaction, Employment transaction, or Both.

When the Application Parameter (APPCTRL) setting for ENABLE_EVERIFY is set to Y, a field is displayed on IEAU titled Document Type. This is required for E-Verify and needs to be populated accordingly. When the APPCTRL setting is set to N, Document Type is not available on IEAU.
