PEIMS Management

TThe Education Information (PEIMS) function allows to collect data from each of the school districts in the school system relating to organization, district finance (budget and actual), staff, dropout student, student, and graduated student. These groups of information are submitted as individual files containing different types of records. Advantage HRM produces the staff file, while the financial system takes care of the district finance file. Collecting information on organization and students is not part of the processing done by the Advantage suite of applications. In Advantage HRM, additional tables and transactions record information that is needed by the PEIMS data collection process. Once all of the data is collected and the appropriate records are generated, they are merged together and sent to an Education Service Center (ESC) for processing.
