Personnel Action Request – Employee

The Personnel Action Request – Employee (PARE) transaction is a clone of the Personnel Action Request (PAR) transaction.  The PARE transaction provides a user friendly way for employees or supervisors to initiate the Personnel Action Request process, using an online workflow approval process to electronically enter requests for approvals.  The Personnel Action values available on the PARE transaction are controlled by the Include in Manager Role/Include in Employee Role check boxes on the Personnel Action Request Action (PARA) page, allowing sites to control what types of requests can be initiated.  

The Personnel Action Request - Employee  has the following fields available: From Date, To Date, Request Action, Request Status and Comments.  Employee information is automatically inferred on creation from the Manage Employee Information page.  Configure Page (DESIGNER) can be used to make additional fields available.

The Personnel Action Request transaction can be created in the following ways:

  • Accessing the Request Assignment Update tile on Manage Employee Information - Profile (MEIPROF).

  • Select the Create action on the Transaction Catalog.
