Race/Ethnicity

The Race/Ethnicity reference page contains valid ethnicity values, which defines the race/ethnic backgrounds for employees and applicants.

The Text Value of the Site Specific Parameter (SPAR), ETHNICITY ENTRY TYPE and EEO Report Type field on the Extended Department (DEPTX) reference page set up determines the race/ethnicity categories that can be used on the Applicant Attribute (AATT) and Employee Attribute (ATTR) transactions.

Note: The Race/Ethnicity values and their description are defined by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). The Race/Ethnicity values are predefined in the HRM application and sites must not modify these values if using Advantage to generate Ethnicity Reports. Sites can modify the Race/Ethnicity table if using a third party tool to generate the Ethnicity Reports; however, the Advantage Ethnicity Reports may not be accurate once the values are modified on this page.
