E-Verify Overview

Advantage provides the ability to interface with E-Verify through the use of APIs to obtain current information on E-Verify cases.

E-Verify Access:

• Each site needs to create their own account for E-Verify and follow the steps E-Verify provides to gain access to E-Verify production and web service use. Once that is obtained, E-Verify provides you with your own production login information and URL that should then be populated in Advantage as described in the next section.

Note: CGI does not provide login information to E-Verify.

E-Verify Setup:

• On Application Control (APPCTRL) ENABLE_EVERIFY must be set to Y to utilize this functionality.

• On Application Control, define the production region URL within EVERIFY_URL.

• On Application Control, define the user name within EVERIFY_USERNAME.

• On Encrypted Batch Parameters (ENBP), enter the password for your E-Verify account. The password will be encrypted.
