Short Term Disability Settings

The Short Term Disability Settings (STRDS) page provides the ability for HR admin or managers to define specific parameters for Short Term disability processing and tracking.

The Absence Without Pay Event Type field stores an Absence Without Pay Event Type that is inferred onto the Employee Short Term Disability (EMSTD) transaction. The Short Term Disability Event Type-Off Day field l stores the Short Term Disability Off Day event type that is inferred on the EMSTD transaction. (Note: This is used for Short Term Disability and Mega Industrial Accident Coordination of Benefits only.) The Benefit Rate Step Down fields stores the benefit rates that require the Short Term Disability event type to be populated on the EMSTD transaction.
