Assigning Tasks to a Subset of Employees

The Mass Task Assignment Center (MTAC) wizard provides a way to assign tasks to a subset of employees based on Department, Unit, Title and so on.

The Mass Task Assignment Center is comprised of the following components:

  • Mass Task Assignment Center Splash page - Allows you to create a new session or search an existing session. You can search an existing session using the Session Number, Session Description, Session Status, From Date, and To Date.

  • Selection Criteria - Allows you to enter criteria for employees you want to assign tasks to. Any employees who satisfy the selection criteria will be picked for processing.

  • Employees Selected - Displays the employees selected based on the criteria entered in the Selection Criteria page. If you wish to update the selection criteria, you can navigate back to the Selection Criteria page, using the Previous button, to update the information.

  • Task Information - Allows you to add tasks to be assigned to the employees. Multiple tasks can be added to this page.

  • Review Information - Allows you to review the employees who were selected as well as which tasks were selected for assignment. Selecting Save and Run will assign the tasks to the employees or you can navigate throughout the wizard to make changes, as desired.
