Recommended Applicant Job Application

The Recommended Applicant Job Application (RAJOBA) transaction allows you to record and view basic job application information such as Job Notice ID, Applicant ID, Name, Application Date, Referral Source, Start Date, Work Cycle and so on. Each application must be created for a particular job, identified by a Job Notice ID. The applicant can apply for several different jobs by submitting one application for each unique Job Notice ID. The applicant can be a current or previous employee, or a potential new hire. Each time the status of the application changes, the Job Application transaction is used to update the record. A status change might change from the initial application to a rejected state. At least one job application must be entered for the applicant before any other applicant related information is entered. This page is the point of entry into the system for a new applicant.

This tab allows you to enter information of Recommended Applicant Job Application details. Select the Job Notice ID field, and the Job Notice ID Desc, Home Department and Home Unit fields value will be inferred related to the selected Job Notice ID.

The Recommended Applicant Job Application Detail tab has the following sections:

  • The General Information section allows you to enter general information of Recommended Applicant Job Application details. Enter the details to Applicant ID, Name, Current/Previous Employee and Employee ID fields as required.

  • The Applicant Status section allows you to enter applicant status information.

  • The Applicant Preference section allows you to enter applicant preference details.

  • The Contact Preference Information section allows you to enter contact preference information of Recommended Applicant Job Application details. Enter the contact information such as Home Phone, Work Phone, Mobile Phone, Fax Phone, E-Mail.

  • The Department Preference section allows you to enter department preference information . Enter the details to fields such as Department 1, Department 2, Department 3, Department Rank 1, Department Rank 2 as required.

  • The Geographic Preference section allows you to enter geographic preference information of an applicant. Enter the details to the fields like Geographic Area 1, Geographic Area 2, Geographic Area 3 as required.
