Extended Department (DEPTX)
The Extended Department (DEPTX) page allows you to provide information for EEO reporting purposes including the EEO Function and EEO Report Type on which the employees in the agency should be reported. It is also used for retroactive pay/leave and multiple employer functions. It provides information about whether organization level budgeting is required for position control.
The Earliest Retroactive Leave Accrual Date allows you to determine the earliest date for which retroactive leave accrual processing may occur. If no entry exists on this page, the system uses the text value for the EARLIEST RETRO LEAVE DATE SPAR entry. When a trigger is created, the trigger start date will be edited, and if need be adjusted, against the relevant earliest retroactive leave accrual date value.
Field InformationField Information
In the ACA Plan Start Month field, enter the month, the benefit plan year begins for the employee. This value is used to populate the Plan Start Month on Form 1095-C.
Note: If values are entered on both Extended Department (DEPTX) and Deduction Policy (DPOL), the value from DEPTX will be used.
The field Mask on Job Inquiry helps to mask the details on Employee Job Inquiry based on the department and unit combination specified on this page. If there are wildcard entries on department or unit, the job inquiry details of employees who belong to the respective department will all get masked.
