One of the key distinctions to establishing a grant using the cost accounting subsystem is the ability to define the federal agency codes. The Funding Identification section permits the user to store information provided by a Federal funding source to the organization receiving the grant. The Funding identification data for a grant may change from one year to another, and therefore this information is stored on the PPC table. This information can also be stored, for reimbursable cost accounting structures, on the Funding Line of the Funding Profile Select (FPRFLST) table. Typically, sites should enter this information on the PPC table for a grant and at the Funding Line page when entering in a project because a single project could be associated with multiple funding sources.
