The Fixed Asset Registry Component (FARCOMP) inquiry is used as the central repository of Advantage Fixed Assets Component information. This Fixed Asset Registry Component (FARCOMP) table contains component level information of both Acquisitions and Betterments. Betterments are considered new Components of a previously acquired asset. FARCOMP contains links to the Fixed Asset Registry Header (FARHDR) and Fixed Asset Registry Accounting (FARACTG) pages that contain detailed information about an assets header and accounting lines respectively. A link is also provided to the Fixed Asset Component Balance Summary (FACBALSQ) page, which summarizes and displays the details of FA balances at the Fixed Asset Component level. Records from the FA Registry Component are removed only on cancellation of an asset. Even if the asset is disposed the FA record would continue to exist on the FA Registry table with the $0 value on the component net book value field. Links are also provided to the following pages: FA Depreciation History, FA Depreciation Elements Changes, Fixed Asset Warranty, Fixed Asset Repair & Maintenance, and Fixed Asset Equity Sources.
