GCA Fund

GCA fund refers for the General Capital Asset Fund. The GCA Fund code is used to record all assets that belong to governmental fund types into just one fund. This is defined on the SPEC Fixed Asset table. For additional information please refer the section on "Special Accounts (SPEC) Table" under Advanced Set up. A fund can be established as a GCA Fund on the Fund table. For additional information about this please refer the section on "Fund Table".  

A fund that is defined as a GCA Fund is used for recording a fixed asset then it is accounted for under the GCA fund as established in the SPEC Fixed Asset table.
