When a fund code requires a 'soft' close of a fiscal year before the year is closed to all other funds, this table provides that ability. It does not provide the ability to remove a system-wide soft close for a given fund.
The fields on the Fiscal Year by Fund (FYFD) table are as follows:

The year is defined as CCYY and must be valid on the Fiscal Year table. |

A field for specifying a fund code for a soft close. The fund value must be valid on the Fund reference table with the Fiscal Year on the FYFD record. |

Closed |
A flag to indicate that a fiscal year is closed to further activity for a fund code. Activity will only be allowed for those document codes marked Soft Close Override Allowed on the Document Control table and the user has the appropriate override authority. |
