User Setup and Maintenance

CGI Advantage provides two options for defining and maintaining users:

• User Maintenance (UDOC) transaction: The User Maintenance transaction can be used to either create new or update existing users. In addition to providing administrators the ability to manage user information, it also provides the ability to grant and to remove security, business, and workflow roles. As with any transaction, this means of user setup and maintenance provides the ability to require approvals during the user establishment and administration process.

• User maintenance reference pages: Using the various user maintenance pages administrators can immediately create new or maintain existing users. Refer to the applicable topics under "Configuration" in this user guide for more information.
