It is required to verify Configurable Inquiry setup or changes on a non-production environment before promoting any settings changes to a production environment. The setup required to create and secure new Business Views as well as executing Configurable Inquiry based on Business Views listed in this guide should be done on a non-production region first to make sure CI returns results with optimum performance. The data volume should be production like so that any performance concerns can be known before releasing to production.
