State/Province

The State/Province (ST) page is used to establish state/province codes. You can define the State/Province Code and Name and to specify the Country in which the State/Province is located.  The State (ST) page is used to establish state/province codes. You can select one state/province as the default state/province for all new records on address and location information pages.

Field Name

Field Description

State/Province

The State ID defines the two character abbreviation for each state. This allows the appropriate state, for reporting pay and deduction information, to be selected.

State/Province Name

The state or province name.
On State Tax Reporting (STRPT) reference page, this field displays the short description inferred from the State/Province Name on the State/Province (ST) table.

Country  

The identification code associated with the country.

Default State/Province

Indicates that the state is the default county for all address and location records.

State FIPS Code  

The state Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) code.
