Alternate Leave Accrual Overview

The Alternate Leave Accrual provides for the following functionality:

  • The Timesheet Adjustment (TADJ) transaction contains three fields to enter the employee’s Alternate Assignment, Region, and Vessel for the computation of leave accrual based on contractually negotiated leave accrual thresholds and rates set up on the leave reference tables.

  • The pay cycle Alternate Leave Accrual job allows to process an alternate pay period leave accrual that will account for all eligible service hours for the given period.

  • The  Alternate Leave Accrual job calculates leave accrual based on employee’s seniority, work assignment, and region/vessel where the work is performed.

  • The Alternate Leave Accrual job allows for the lump sum accrual hours when an employee has met the defined service hour threshold.

  • The  Alternate Leave Accrual job contains the parameters to allow for the entry comma-separated leave policy codes to be processed, start and end dates for leave processing.
