Leave Accrual (LEAV)
The Leave Accrual (LEAV) transaction allows you to manually accrue leave for an employee.
The Leave Accrual transaction has the following tabs:
Use the Leave Accrual tab to identify the employee.
Leave Accrual DetailLeave Accrual Detail
Use the Leave Accrual Detail tab to identify the leave event.
The Cash Value Leave Processing field allows you to select the value to indicate which method is to be used when an employee is subject to Cash Value Leave (indicated on Leave Policy Event Type (LPET)). Valid values are:
Blank - Positive amount of hours being accrued for an employee.
Reduce Hours on Specific Date - The negative amount of hours’ entry will be reduced from the employee’s balance on a specific date.
Reduce Hours by FIFO - The negative amount of hours’ entry will be reduced from the employee’s balance on a First In, First Out basis.
Rate Adjustment - The Override Hourly Rate entry will be updated for leave accruals with a balance in the specified date range.
The Rate Adjustment Start Date and Rate Adjustment End Date fields defines the first and last day of the Rate Adjustment for the Override Hourly Rate. These fields should be entered in mm/dd/ccyy format. This field has no default value if blank.
The Leave Accrual transaction can be created in the following way:
Select the Create action on the Transaction Catalog.
Select the Create Leave Accrual row-level action on the Employee, Employee Leave Balance, Employee Leave Activity or Employee Leave Accrual and Usage by Month tab of the Leave Management (LEAVM) activity folder.
