Work Schedule Setup
Several reference tables are used to setup work schedules. For more information about each reference table, refer to the appropriate section under Time and Leave Reference Pages. To setup work schedules:
Complete the Work Cycle (WKCY) page to define the scheduled shifts, hours, and days that constitute the entered work cycle.
Complete the Work Day (WDAY) page to define normal work days, off days (i.e. weekends), holidays, and contract work days for each work cycle.
Complete the Schedule Pattern (SCHP) page to enter the pattern of work days to be populated on WDAY.
Complete the Holiday Schedule (HOLI) page to create a schedule of holidays to be used in the automated creation of records on Work Day (WDAY) by the Populate Work Day batch process.
Run the Populate WDAY Table batch job.
