Interest Payment Request (IPR)

Purpose

The Interest Payment Request (IPR) document allows users to evaluate and assess interest on late payment requests to vendors. The IPR document is classified as an ABS Document Type with a sub type of IPR to record the interest in the system. The IPR document is generally created during the Automatic Interest Calculation batch process but can be manually created. It includes a protected flag to determine if the document has been generated manually or automatically.

Structure

The IPR document contains most of the same fields and sections as the GAX Document Code, any differences are noted.

Tasks

The IPR document is generally system-generated. When it is system generated, the completion of the component is handled as part of the Automated Interest Calculation batch process.
