Foreign Organization
The Foreign Organization (SCFORG) page is used to define additional organizational entities a user can or cannot access in addition to the home organization. A different set of organizational code combinations can be set for each of the following combinations: Security Role/Resource Group/User ID, Security Role/Resource Group/Home Department, Security Role/User ID ((if a Resource Group of ALL is specified), or Security Role/Home Department combination (if a Resource Group of ALL is specified). These organizational code combinations are called foreign organizations. Foreign organizations provide a wider variety of organization code combinations for securing a resource. Leaving any foreign organization code, such as Unit Code, blank indicates that any value for that organization code will match and be authorized for access.
