Navigating the Help System

1. Select the Help icon from the Global Navigation menu in the CGI Advantage application. Result: A second browser window opens with page help for the current page.

2. Select the Show Full Help Menu link in the upper left corner of the page help window. Result: The Table of Contents is expanded to the location for the current page.  The online help navigation panels are also visible which allow you to navigate/search the entire online help system.

3. Select the + symbol next to one of the books in the Contents tab in the left-side frame. (Result: The topics available for that book appear in the left-side frame.)  Then select one of the topics in the Contents tab in the left-side frame. Result: The topic page for the topic you selected appears in the right-side frame of the browser window.

NOTE: When you select hyperlinks within the topic pages, the hyperlink will either expand/collapse information, display the destinatio topic in the right-side frame, or a new window will open.  To move from the destination page back to the original page where you invoked the hyperlink, use your browser's Back button.

4. Close the help browser window by either selecting the close icon (X) or by selecting File: Close.

Note: Select the Accessibility link from the footer of any page in the CGI Advantage application, to open the help system in an accessible format that supports the Federal Government’s Section 508 requirements as well as the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) compliance. Refer to Adobe's website (https://www.adobe.com/accessibility/compliance/adobe-robohelp-2017-acr.html) for additional information on what is supported with Adobe RoboHelp HTML 2017.

1. Select the question mark icon next to the field in CGI Advantage for which you want to get information. Note:  This icon only exists for the fields that have field help.
