The header of every help file includes links to open the online help for the other three applications. For example, if you are viewing Performance Budgeting online help, then you are presented with links to Administration Help, Financial Help, and Human Resource Management Help. The Table of Contents, Favorites, and Search are unique to the online help application that you are viewing. Selecting a Help link in the header will completely replace your browser window with online help for that application. If you want to open the help in a new tab or in a new window, then right-click on the link and select the preferred option from the pop-up menu.

Topic files provided in the online help include various options for navigation:
-
Hyperlinks - Some topic files include links to sections/text within the topic file and some links take you to a different topic file. Note: If a link takes you to a bookmark within a topic file, then you are taken directly beneath the bookmark location. The Footer area allows you to navigate directly to the Site Map or User Guide Downloads (view PDF files of user guides) topic files for the application's online help that is currently being viewed. For example, if you are viewing online help for Advantage Financial, then you are taken to the Site Map for Advantage Financial Online Help when you click the Site Map link in the footer of the help file.

You can quickly navigate to frequently accessed help files by saving the help file as a Favorite via the right panel. Refer to the "Online Help Favorites" topic for more information on this feature.
Table of ContentsTable of Contents
The Contents tab in the left panel provides a table of contents for the online help application that you are currently viewing. You can expand sections to see additional topics. When you select a topic from search results, the Contents tab automatically expands the table of contents for your topic. This allows you to quickly view other topics that are in the same user guide/functional area. You can also collapse sections in the Contents tab.
A scroll bar is provided in the Contents tab. Note: If you are not able to scroll to the bottom of the Contents tab because you have many sections expanded, then use the scroll bar in the right panel and scroll all the way down then continue scrolling down in the left panel. If you are still not able to see sections at the bottom of the Contents tab, then collapse some sections.
You can hide the left panel (Contents tab) by selecting the Hide Left Panel icon, which is located above the topic file. You can show the left panel (Contents tab) by selecting the Show Left Panel icon.
