Donated Leave
The Donated Leave (DL) transaction allows you to manually donate leave in the Leave Bank or directly to an employee who is in need of leave.
Event Date and Amount are required fields on this transaction. To directly donate leave to an employee’s account, the recipient employee must be enrolled in the leave bank that allows direct donation (that is, where Bank Type is specified as Direct Donation).
Note: A Human Resource Administrator may create a Donated Leave transaction for an employee to record his/her leave donation request via Donated Leave transaction, with additional Donation/Deposit Action values. The Donated Leave transaction allows you to donate leave to a leave bank, deposit leave in the leave bank, transfer leave from the leave bank to an employee, directly donate employee's leave to another employee, and return the unused donated leave to the original donor. Human Resource users should refer to the “Donated Leave” topic in the Time and Leave User Guide for more information.

Use this transaction to enter leave bank, event date, donation event type, amount and recipient information to indicate the employee who is receiving leave.
Donate Leave in the Leave BankDonate Leave in the Leave Bank

Select the Create Leave Donation button.

Select the Leave Bank from which you are donating.

Select the Donation Event Type from which you are donating the leave from. This field is optional. If left blank, it uses the default usage event from Leave Bank.

Enter the Event Date for when the leave donation should occur (this defaults to the current date).

Enter the Amount of leave you are donating.

Select the Recipient Employee ID of the person for which you are donating the leave.

Select Save & Close to save your direct donation request and return to the Leave Donation carousel tile.

Select Cancel to exit the Donate Leave transaction without saving your changes.
The Donated Leave transaction can be created in the following way, based on user access rights:

Select the Create Leave Donation action on the Time and Leave Landing > Leave Bank carousel tile to add new leave donation information. Once you have made all of your changes, select the Save & Close button to save the leave donation information and return to the Leave Donation carousel tile. If you select the Cancel button, you will exit the Donated Leave transaction without saving your changes.

Select the Create action on the Transaction Catalog.

Select the Create Leave Donation row-level action on the Employee Leave Balance, Employee Leave Activity or Employee Leave Accrual and Usage by Month tab of the Leave Management (LEAVM) activity folder.
