Self Evaluations
You can review and complete your Self Performance Evaluations via a Self Performance Evaluation section.
The Self Evaluations section allows you to submit feedback on your performance through Self Performance Evaluations. Additionally, this section can be used to fill out items such as Exit Interviews.
Past entries (in Submitted status) are viewable on the Manage Past Performance Review section. Upon submission of a Self Evaluation, it will be sent to the appropriate manager for review and approval.
You can select the View or Edit row-level action to review or update your self performance evaluation. This opens the Self Evaluations page, which allows you to edit or review one that has already been created.
The Self Performance Evaluation page displays information about the Self Evaluation. on this page you can define the type of Self Evaluation you are creating, (for instance, an Exit Interview).
The Ratings section allows you to select a rating type, enter comments regarding the evaluation, and a displays list of areas for growth. You must enter a Rating Response.
Select the Rating to view detailed information for the rating, comments regarding the evaluation, and/or areas for growth. Select Next, at the bottom of this page, or the Evaluation Acceptance link at the top of the page, to navigate to the Performance Evaluation section.
The Performance Evaluation section allows you to sign the Self Evaluation, indicating that it is ready for manager review and approval. The Self Performance Evaluation section allows managers to review an employee's self performance evaluation. Upon submission of the self performance evaluation by the employee, it will be available in the Performance Management Worklist for review by the specified approver. You can review, approve and meet with an employee as needed, then approve or reject the evaluation. Approval finalizes the evaluation making it available in the Performance Management History widget.
Select the Evaluation Ready for Employee View check box to allow the self performance evaluation to be viewed by the employee.
Note: A Human Resource Administrator can also create or update the Self Evaluation via the Self Evaluation transaction. Human Resource users should refer to the “Self Evaluation” topic in the Personnel Management User Guide for more information. The creation of Self Performance Evaluations is not allowed by managers. Self Evaluation transactions can be created by either an employee using the Self Evaluation or by HR Administrators who can create exit interview type evaluations. These exit interview type evaluations are automatically available for the employee to fill out once a draft Self Evaluation is created in Advantage HRM.
The Self Evaluation transaction can be created in the following ways, based on user access rights:

Select the Create or Edit action on the Performance Review Landing > Manage Current Performance Review carousel tile to add new or edit existing information. Once you have made all your changes, select the Save & Close button to save your details and return to the Manage Current Performance Review carousel tile. If you select the Cancel button, you will exit the Self Evaluation transaction without saving your changes.
