The Deduction Plan (DPLN), Employee Fringe Benefit Plan (BENP), and Employer Fringe Benefit Plan (EFBP) pages define the Retirement Process ID, Retirement Contribution Type, Retirement Contribution Code, Retirement Pay Code, and Rate Summary that is used for pension processing. Refer to the "Deduction Plan" topic in the Deduction Processing User Guide and the "Employee Fringe Benefit Plan" and "Employer Fringe Benefit Plan" topics in the Benefits Processing User Guide for more information. Refer to the "Setup Deduction Plans for Pensions" topic in this user guide for instructions on specifying a plan for pension processing. |
Pay Class |
This page allows you to define the grouping for employees whose pay is calculated in an identical manner. |

This page allows you to define a distinct payroll cycle period in which pay, deduction, and pension details are processed for a given group of employees. |

Pension System |
This page allows you to define the codes that identify the types of pension plans in which employees can enroll. |

Pension System Alternative Codes |
The Pension System Alternate Codes page allows you to enter override values at a Pay Event level for a Pension System / Tier for Retirement Processing. The overrides can be used if an alternate value is needed that is different from the default values set on the Pension System (PNST) page, Deduction Plan (DPLN) page, or the Pay Class (PYCL) page. |

Retirement Contribution Code |
This page allows you to record and view information pertaining to contribution codes used by payroll processing for pension system payments. These codes override the default contribution codes specified for deductions on the Deduction Plan page (DPLN). |

Retirement Pay Category |
This page allows you to define valid retirement pay category codes. |

Retirement Pay Code to Amount Basis |
This page allows you to crosswalk the Retirement System, Retirement Pay Code, and Amount Basis ID to the Retirement Pay Code Amount Basis ID in order to support the payroll engine in determining the retirement pay rate. |

Retirement Pay Retirement Category |
This page allows you to define valid retirement pay codes and the Retirement Pay Category code. |

Sub- title |
This page allows you to identify the set of pay, leave, and deduction policies, the FLSA profile, the Client Compensation profile, and pension system parameters that govern employees in a particular title. You can have multiple sub-titles per title. |
