Deduction Management Activity Folder (DEDM)
The Deduction Management (DEDM) activity folder allows users to easily perform deduction-related actions by gathering all of the necessary pages together in one place. Furthermore, one can create and maintain the related transactions.
On the Employee Deduction Summary section, you can see the Total Annual Amount and total quarterly amounts in the scalar section for the deductions taken. These totals reflect the summary of all records that match your specified selection (search) criteria, even if all the records are not being displayed on the viewable grid. Note that the default selection criteria will only display records for the current year.

The Employee tab displays the employee information for the deduction.
This tab contains the following row-level actions:

Create External Adjustment - This action creates and opens an External Adjustments (EADJ) transaction, which allows you to make year-to-date pay, deduction and entity (employer and employee) summary adjustments.
Net Pay DistributionNet Pay Distribution
The Net Pay Distribution tab displays pay information.
This tab contains the following row-level actions:

Create Net Pay Distribution -This action creates and opens the Net Pay Distribution (NPD) transactions, which allows you to designate where an employee’s pay check is distributed.

Modify Net Pay Distribution - This action creates and opens the Net Pay Distribution (NPD) transactions, which allows you to modify the details.
Employee Tax ParameterEmployee Tax Parameter
The Employee Tax Parameter tab displays general, state and federal tax information. When the MULTI_STATE_TAX Application Parameter (APPCTRL) entry is enabled, only general and federal tax information displays.

When MULTI_STATE_TAX is enabled in APPCTRL:

Create Federal Tax Enrollment - This action creates and opens the Federal Tax Enrollment (TAXF) transaction, which allows users to record employee’s federal tax information.

Modify Federal Tax Enrollment - This action creates and opens the Federal Tax Enrollment (TAXF) transaction, which allows users to modify the employee’s federal tax information.
When MULTI_STATE_TAX is disabled in APPCTRL:

Create Employee Tax Parameter -This action creates and opens the Employee Tax Parameter (TAX) transactions, which allows you to record information on an employee's tax class, tax deductions, tax status, and tax allowance.

Modify Employee Tax Parameter - This action creates and opens the Employee Tax Parameter (TAX) transactions, which allows you to modify the employees tax information.

The Employee State Tax Parameter tab displays general and state tax information.

Create State Tax Enrollment - This action creates and opens the State Tax Enrollment (TAXS) transaction, which allows users to record employee’s state tax information.

The Employee Tax Forms tab displays the tax forms associated to the employee by Tax Year.
Employee Pension ProfileEmployee Pension Profile
The Employee Pension Profile tab displays the pension profiles and allows you to modify or create new pension profiles.

Create Pension Profile -This action creates and opens the Pension Profile (PENS) transactions, which allows you to record and view information pertaining to an employee's pension plan and pension deductions.

Miscellaneous DeductionsMiscellaneous Deductions
The Miscellaneous Deductions tab displays the miscellaneous deductions for the employee and allows you to modify or create additional miscellaneous deductions.

Create Miscellaneous Deduction -This action creates and opens the Miscellaneous Deductions (MISC transactions, which allows you to manage several types of deductions.

Modify Miscellaneous Deduction - This action creates and opens the Miscellaneous Deductions (MISC transactions, which allows you to modify the employee deduction details.
Dept Miscellaneous DeductionsDept Miscellaneous Deductions
The Dept Miscellaneous Deductions tab displays the department miscellaneous deductions for the employee and allows you to modify or create additional department miscellaneous deductions.
Family Court / Family Court Arrears / BankruptcyFamily Court / Family Court Arrears / Bankruptcy
The Family Court / Family Court Arrears / Bankruptcy tab displays deduction information for the employee for Family Court, Family Court Arrears or Bankruptcy deductions.
This tab contains the following row-level actions:

Create Family Court / Family Court Arrears / Bankruptcy -This action creates and opens the Family Court/ Family Court Arrears/ Bankruptcy (FAMC) transactions, which allows you to record deductions that need to be entered because of a family or bankruptcy court order.

Modify Create Family Court / Family Court Arrears / Bankruptcy - This action creates and opens Family Court/ Family Court Arrears/ Bankruptcy (FAMC) the transactions, which allows you to modify the details. Existing attachments will be carried over to the modified transaction if Include Attachments on Copy is configured to do so on Transaction Control (DCTRL). For more information, refer to the "Transaction Control" section within the CGI Advantage System Administrator Guide.
The Garnishment tab displays deduction information for garnishments for the employee.
This tab contains the following row-level actions:

Create Garnishment -This action creates and opens the Garnishment (GARN) transactions, which allows you to calculate, compare and deduct the employee's pay garnishment.

Modify Garnishment - This action creates and opens the Garnishment (GARN) transactions, which allows you to modify the details. Existing attachments will be carried over to the modified transaction if Include Attachments on Copy is configured to do so on Transaction Control (DCTRL). The Tax Levy tabs displays tax levy deduction information and allows you to modify or create new tax levy deductions.

Create Tax Levy -This action creates and opens the Tax Levy Deduction (LEVY) transactions, which allows you to record and view information relating to a tax levy deduction taken from an employee's wages.

The Pending Deduction tab displays deduction information for pending deductions, allows you to modify pending deductions or create a one-time deduction.

Create One-Time Deduction -This action creates and opens the One-time Deduction (OTDED) transactions, which allows you to generate special "one- time" only deductions.

The Employee Deduction Parameter tab displays the deduction parameters set for the employee.

The Employee Deduction Summary tab totals the deduction amount and summarizes the amount by quarter.
Employee Deduction Summary StateEmployee Deduction Summary State
The Employee Deduction Summary tab totals the deduction amount and summarizes the amount by quarter. Additionally, the section allows users to search on the State ID field.
Employee Deduction Summary LocalEmployee Deduction Summary Local
The Employee Deduction Parameter tab displays the deduction parameters set for the employee. Additionally, the section allows users to search on the Local ID field.
Reimbursement Account Claim DetailReimbursement Account Claim Detail
The Reimbursement Account Claim Detail tab displays the claim details and allows you to modify or create new claims.

Create Reimbursement Account Claim -This action creates and opens the Reimbursement Account Claim (REIM) transactions, which allows you to reimburse eligible out-of-pocket health care and dependent care expenses under Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) regulations.

Modify Reimbursement Account Claim - This action creates and opens the Reimbursement Account Claim (REIM) transactions, which allows you to modify the claim details.
Health Insurance EligibilityHealth Insurance Eligibility
By default, the Health Insurance Eligibility tab will be hidden. Sites can display it by using the file-based extension.
The Health Insurance Eligibility allows you to view information pertaining to an employee’s Health Insurance Eligibility, including a history of eligibility changes.

Create Health Insurance Eligibility -This action creates and opens the Health Insurance Eligibility (HINS) transactions, which allows you to create a health insurance eligibility record for an employee.

The Related Transactions tab allows you to lookup transactions related to the employee.
