The Evaluation Wizard is a self-guided process to take the user through the various steps involved in Performance Evaluation. It allows Administrators and Managers to set up goals or expectations for the employees and attach weightage to various goals that will be used for final evaluation scoring. Managers can also assign various trainings to be completed and competency levels to be achieved by the employee.

Employees can self- evaluate and rate themselves according to how they have performed and achieve various goals through the Self- Assessment step. They can add their comments, notes, attach documentation to validate the self-assessed rating.

Managers can reach out to employee's peers and other managers from the same department with whom the employee has worked with during the evaluation period to ask for feedback. They can ask for feedback on specific goals as well.

A manager can do the assessment on goals on the Assessment step of the wizard. The manager can provide ratings and comments on each goal and also provide overall rating and comments.

A manager can then reach out to different level of reviewers for review and approval. Once reviewers have approved, the manager can share the assessment with the employee. After the employee has signed and accepted the evaluation; the manager can sign and complete the evaluation process. Employees, Managers, reviewers will get an alert on their homepage when any evaluation is awaiting their action.

Managers and Employees can access the Evaluation Wizard in the following ways based on user access rights:

  • Select the Performance Review carousel - In Progress Evaluation tile from the Performance carousel.  Selecting the View button against any evaluation navigates you to the Evaluation wizard If a site allows the manager to initiate an evaluation then clicking on the Create button will initiate a new evaluation.

  • Managers and employees can access the completed evaluations from Performance Review carousel - Completed Evaluation tile. The View button against the evaluations navigates you to the Evaluation wizard in read-only mode.

The evaluation process is highly configurable process that supports specific client needs and policies. It includes following steps:

Throughout the evaluation process and even for pending conversation check-ins sites can send out automated reminders to employees, managers, and reviewers. There can be reminders about upcoming due dates and for over past due dates.
